Server system supplier InWin is capitalizing on the surging demand for AI servers, driven by the increasing need for efficient GPU cooling.

The company has seen a significant rise in customer adoption of water-cooling solutions. Water-cooled server chassis constitute 7-8% of InWin's server portfolio, with projections to exceed 10% by year-end and potentially surpass 30% by 2025.

InWin has a long history of producing chassis and water-cooling systems, primarily catering to the gaming PC market. The recent AI wave has extended these gaming-related cooling solutions to the server sector, creating new growth avenues for InWin. The company is optimistic about its prospects through 2023 and 2024, with the market expanding beyond initial expectations. All product lines are set for growth in 2024, with AI PCs expected to drive significant momentum alongside servers.

By the close of 2023, InWin anticipated that revenue from server products would exceed 50% in 2024. In the first quarter of 2024, server product revenue had already reached 48.76%, with PC chassis at 33.36%, power supplies at 2.96%, cooling modules at 0.82%, and other products making up the remainder.

InWin identifies AI servers as the segment with the highest growth potential, largely due to their higher unit prices. The shift from air cooling to water cooling is becoming a major trend, with water cooling poised to become mainstream in the latter half of the year.

Unlike other component manufacturers, InWin also engages in system assembly. While competitors vie for orders from Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), InWin focuses on securing the most profitable deals rather than sheer volume. As system integrators worldwide roll out AI products, InWin positions itself as the preferred partner, offering L11 assembly services to support these high-value deployments.
