At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, Intel unveiled its latest PC processor lineup and announced the successful sampling of its artificial intelligence (AI) PC processors, presumably Panther Lake, to customers. The chips, manufactured using Intel's 18A process technology (1.8nm), are expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2025.

According to Tom's Hardware and PCMag, Intel Products CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus emphasized, "Intel is only going to continue bolstering its AI PC product portfolio in 2025 and beyond as we sample our lead Intel 18A product to customers now ahead of volume production in the second half of 2025."

While her remarks did not explicitly identify which product she was referring to, Intel had previously announced two products utilizing the Intel 18A process in an August 2024 press release: the Panther Lake AI PC client processor and the Clearwater Forest server processor.

These products have already been produced, powered on, and successfully booted up their operating systems, suggesting that Holthaus was referring specifically to Panther Lake.

At the same event, Intel introduced several new products, including the Core Ultra 200U, 200H, and 200HX notebook processors, codenamed Arrow Lake. The lineup features the Core Ultra 200U optimized for energy efficiency in lower-priced notebook devices, while the 200H and 200HX target users' demands for high performance.
