China handset chip sales to decline over 6% in 2009

China handset production is expected to drop 15.8% in 2009, with sales of related handset chips seeing a decline of 6.2% to 96 billion yuan (US$14.03 billion), according to the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA).
