MediaTek announced its collaboration with Nvidia to design the Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip for Nvidia Project DIGITS, a personal AI supercomputer, on January 6, 2025.

As the world's leading chip supplier for smartphones, smart TVs, Arm-based Chromebooks, Android tablets, and voice assistants (VAD), MediaTek has established itself at the forefront of AI computing. The firm continues to invest heavily in delivering superior AI, connectivity, and multi-media experiences to Arm-based system-on-chip (SoC) devices across numerous platforms, leveraging best-in-class power efficiency. Expanding automotive and AI capabilities
The GB10 development marks the latest partnership between the two companies, building upon MediaTek's ongoing collaboration with Nvidia to provide innovative experiences for drivers and passengers through the new MediaTek Dimensity Auto Cockpit chips. These processors incorporate Nvidia's next-generation GPU-accelerated AI computing and RTX graphics.
Additionally, MediaTek has integrated Nvidia TAO, an AI model training and optimization toolkit, with MediaTek's NeuroPilot SDK to provide advanced edge AI capabilities for IoT applications.
AI integration across product lines
MediaTek emphasized its commitment to implementing advanced AI capabilities across its portfolio, including the Dimensity portfolio for smartphones and tablets, the Genio family for IoT devices, the Pentonic series for smart TVs, the Kompanio line for Arm-based Chromebooks, and the Dimensity Auto platform for vehicles, furthering its vision to bring AI everywhere.
