Microip, a company focused on application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design services and AI software design services, announced its revenue for January 2025 reached NT$14.51 million (approx. US$442,555), marking an increase of 489% month-over-month and 229% year-over-year.
This remarkable growth is primarily attributed to the expanding operational scale of its two main business segments: ASIC design services and AI software service platforms.
The company particularly benefited from communication system-on-chip (SoC) projects entering the completion acceptance phase. As design projects progressed, non-recurring engineering (NRE) revenues were recognized, while Microip actively continued to promote its ASIC design services and AI software platform solutions, which were key contributors to the monthly and yearly revenue increases.
During CES 2025, Microip achieved great results, successfully elevating brand awareness to new heights by showcasing innovative technologies and solutions. This attracted significant attention from potential customers worldwide, deepening relationships with existing partners and successfully expanding new collaboration opportunities.
The high exposure during the event resulted in substantial order achievements for Microip, receiving over a hundred order opportunities throughout the exhibition. The company plans to carefully evaluate these prospects and actively pursue business opportunities, anticipating that this will inject strong momentum into future operations.
Additionally, during CES, Microip was invited to a closed-door meeting with Garlin Gilchrist II, the Lieutenant Governor of Michigan. Through in-depth discussions with the Michigan government, Microip gained valuable insights into local automotive industry trends and semiconductor development, laying a solid foundation for its entry into the North American market.
