Corning restarting damaged Japan plant; LCD market demand encouraging, chairman says

Corning is restarting production at its facility in Japan that was damaged by an earthquake in August 2009 and it has seen encouraging signs in the LCD market, according to company chairman and CEO Wendell P Weeks.
