Taiwan market: Smartphones account for 55% of FET total handset sales in January

Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) has revealed that sales of smartphones accounted for 55% of its total handset sales in January. The carrier plans to launch 6-7 tablet PCs during the remainder of 2011 starting in March.
