Behind the scenes of PSMC-SBI's wafer fab in Japan falling through as signs emerged in March

On August 27, Taiwan-based Power Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp (PSMC) and Japan-based SBI Holdings announced a termination of their collaboration on a 12-inch wafer fab in Miyagi Prefecture, which PSMC had already hinted on in March.
